Our Mission and Vision
Our mission is to change the lives of children who are in need of care and support. The lack of volunteers, government funding, and NGO assistance contribute to the insufficient care and attention needed by abandoned children. Through the help of our sponsors and partners, we are stepping up with our program of intervention to meet the pressing needs of each child and to make a significant difference in their lives.
Our purpose is to give them a future, hope, and quality education while under our guardianship. We also want to help these children improve their self-reliance and independence to prepare them for the future after they are no longer under our care. Our ultimate mission is to normalize their lives and find families who want to adopt and nurture them. Our program of intervention is a lifesaving work that can only be made possible with the financial help of sponsors and partners like you.
We have the unique advantage of being able to reach and mobilize as many community members as possible, and to act swiftly in addressing the pressing needs of orphans and other vulnerable children.
Our Mission for Orphans and Other Vulnerable Children
- To break the cycle of homelessness
- To save this generation from a future of poverty
- To mitigate the possible adverse impact of homelessness on their development
- To provide shelter and nutrition
- To provide healthcare and education
- To improve their self-esteem while normalizing their lives
Our Objectives
- Set up a corporate office in the US
- Partner and maintain orphanages throughout the world
- Identify and process papers for orphans through proper channels (hospitals, church, civic groups, government, families, individuals)
- Placement of orphans for adoption with families
- Raise continual fund for the management of the orphanages
- Obtain and allocate goods and living materials (furniture, clothing, books, stationery, food, medicine, vehicles, etc.)
Who We Are
Haven Children Orphanage, Inc is an international humanitarian organization dedicated to building, maintaining, and partnering with orphanages for the personal care of orphans and homeless children throughout the world. Our aim is to join forces and pool our resources with sponsors and the local community to break the cycle of homelessness among orphans and other vulnerable children.
Haven Children Orphanage, Inc is a multi-national group of concerned individuals with a vested interest in the improvement of the lives of children. Our organization’s motto: excellence, efficiency, care, education, productivity, and mainstream. Our curriculum is established in educating the children to the highest degree.

Theresa felt God’s leading to set up NGO after a mission trip to Ghana in 2006 Her mission is to see God help orphans, vulnerable and widows all over the continent of Africa
Marian Amedekey B.A. Vice President
Queen Mother of Osu Ajumanku. Ghana.Queen Mothers are traditional female leaders, drawn from the relevant royal lineages, who are mostly responsible for women’s and children’s issues. As a Queen of Osu Ajumanku, I understand the unique cultural heritage that links to my throne, and as a Mother, I always have the responsibility of physical and emotional care to all, and as the VP, I will employ and execute Haven Children Orphanage, Inc.
Victor T.M. Moncar B.A Manager
Victor is a Ghanaian-born, who has experienced over 20 years working with less privileged and more. Communicating with children without being judged of race, color, ethnicity, language, nationality, or gender. Understanding that life is never easy, and no child should ever sleep hungry, Live without clothes, and not know where to sleep at night, feeling lonely in the world because of losing a parent or both, others not knowing their parents from birth. My understanding is that education is the first step to greatness, I agree that if we can reach out and touch somebody’s hand. We all make the world a better place. I will stand and will use my expertise in tackling concerns that will rise and in support, work, and assist Haven Child Orphanage, Inc. as best I can in the above mentioned.
